Tasteful updates reinvigorate this mid-century classic.

The View Ridge neighborhood in Seattle is home to numerous examples of mid-century modern residential design. We had the honor of restoring one such example. Our brief was to preserve the original architecture of the home while adding modern updates. Our focus was on the kitchen, but this remodel also features new cedar siding, and a refreshed main bed and bath.

The original kitchen, like many from the 1950s, was cramped and separated from the main spaces of the home. We were able to open and expand it, and the walnut cabinet package is appropriate for a home of this period. Stainless Jenn-Air appliances and refinished oak floors complete the look.
